Membership


Exercise is important for everyone to maintain their health, but it is imperative for those who experience physically disabling conditions.   

Lakeshore Foundation's fitness, recreation and education center offers unparalleled health and wellness opportunities to people with physical disabilities and chronic health conditions such as spinal cord injury, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, stroke, limb loss, diabetes, arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and visual impairment.  Individuals age 60 and over are also eligible to join.  Family members of eligible individuals may also enroll in membership.


Our facility includes a heated indoor aquatics center, featuring two pools; a 6,000 square foot fitness area with free-weights, strength training, cardio machines, and an aerobics studio; a three-court gym and indoor Olympic MONDO® surface 200-meter track in our spacious fieldhouse; 10-lane archery and marksmanship range; and spacious men's and women's locker room facilities with assisted dressing areas.  Your membership includes access to all areas of the facility, as well as all land-based and aquatics classes and youth, athletics and recreation programs.

Lakeshore Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dependent on the support of individuals and corporations in our community.
