Comprehensive program of fitness, recreation, sport and transition support for recently injured U.S. military personnel from Alabama and throughout the nation.

More than 34,000 U.S. military personnel have been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. These men and women are in serious need of transition services, and there are far too few organizations prepared to help. Lakeshore Foundation has the experience and expertise to help our severely injured service members regain active and independent lives through recreation and sport.

As part of Lakeshore Foundation's Injured Military Initiative, we are pleased to offer Lima Foxtrot programs. Lima Foxtrot is a comprehensive program of fitness, recreation, sport and transition support for severely injured military personnel throughout the nation.

U.S. Paralympic Military Sports Camp (February 25-28, 2010) Lakeshore Foundation and the United States Olympic Committee's U.S. Paralympic Military Program have joined together to present a special military sports camp.

Operation Night Vision (May 20-23, 2010) is a camp held at Lakeshore Foundation specifically designed for injured military personnel with visual impairment or blindness.

Operation Alpha (August 5-8, 2010) is designed to appeal to recently severely injured servicemen and women who have sustained a traumatic brain injury. This is event held on the Lakeshore Foundation Campus and offers multiple sports and recreation activities.

Operation Rise & Conquer (September 23-26, 2010) is an exciting outdoor recreation program held at Lake Martin, Alabama.

Operation Endurance enables local servicemen and women who have sustained a severe injury during active duty ongoing access to Lakeshore Foundation's membership programs at no cost.
